Cap'n Crusty is once again calling for
Pirates, Wenches, Privateers and all other free-living
spirits to gather on Jeddore Harbour at Salmon River Bridge
on Saturday Sept. 19th at 11:00 am for a full day of Piratical
Parades, Nautical Nonsense, Buxom Bobulations, Garrulous
Groggin', Exciting Explosions, Wondrous Wenchin', Raucous
Robberies, Cannon Fire, Musket Fire, Daring Dancin' and
Flyin in the Face of all Authority and convention.
In the Cap'n's words, "Jest show
yerself n have some fun!!! If'n ye're not havin' FUN ye'll
be clapped in Irons, thrown in the Brig and possibly Keel-hauled.....and
if that's not enough fun fer ye...we'll see that ye Walks
the Plank over the shark-infested waters of Jeddore Harbour."
He sez.
That should put a smile on yer face!
Pirates of all ages are welcome to walk
in the Parade which begins on Myers Point Road at 11:00
am. Any Pirates or wenches intending to walk in the parade
should show up between 10:00 and 10:30 am. If you would
like to enter a float in the parade, get there by 10:00
am...
There will be prizes awarded for The Best
Float, The Best Pirate, The Best Wench, The Best Pirate
Child, and The Best Wench Child, as well as The Best Pirate
Family. So get on down here and strut your stuff in the
big Pirate Parade.
Glow Parties Pirate Camp will be on site
all day long at Salmon River Bridge on the Grounds of
Salmon River House Country Inn and The Lobster Shack Restaurant
with a Giant Pirate Arch, The Buccaneer Bouncy Pirate
Ship, The Midway of Pirate Games of Skill, and much more
fun and activity. Lots to see and do and lots of fun Pirate
Food such as "Buck an Ear" Corn on the Cob,
Pirate Ribs 'n' Bones, Buried Treasure Chili and lots
more.
